The most basic of computer graphics programs. This course is designed for users of the earliest age and has also been with Microsoft Windows from the earliest age. Paint is able to create images and saves them as .BMP (bitmap), .JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) .GIF (Graphic Interchange Format), .PNG (Portable Network Graphics) or.TIFF (Tagged Image File Format). Each format differs in the quality, some can have high color depth images, such as a JPEG, or an 8 bit per pixel like the GIF format. For color photographs, more people choose a JPEG format over GIF due to its quality.
Paint comes with the following options: free-form cut, 4 sides cut, an eraser that varies in 4 different sizes, a fill function, a tool to pick an existing color on your picture and replicate it, pencil, a brush, text, lines, zoom and 4 different shapes.
There is a menu function in Paint that can take an image and flip it, sketch it, invert the colors, and more. There is also a choice for you to change your colors under the colors menu. You can choose new colors or different grades of existing colors.
As primitive as Paint is compared to all the computer graphics programs out there, paint is an excellent program to use for basic art such as pixel artists, or oekaki, which is Japanese for "to doodle".
Throughout the year's painting has expanded its functions since the first Microsoft Paint and hopefully, Microsoft will keep expanding and making it easier, but more challenging functions for those who wish to continue using it.
How to import and render your SolidWorks model in Maya using the built-in mental ray. SolidWorks is one of the main product design solid modelers. It has a built-in render engine called PhotoWorks. With the release of PhotoWorks 2, rendering within SolidWorks has become more realistic and easier. In many cases, PhotoWorks will be the most convenient way to render your model because you don't have to leave SolidWorks. However, in some cases, you will find the need to make renders that are more realistic (or even photo-realistic), and PhotoWorks is not sufficient anymore. This is when you might consider using an external program for rendering. In this how-to, doing this using Alias Maya with mental ray will be described. This will be done with SolidWorks 2005 and Maya 6.5, but it will probably work in most other (recent) versions as well. Before you can import your model into Maya, you need to export it to the IGES format first. In this how-to, do this with an assembly, but it is essentially the same for a separate part will be described.

SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface.
An award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12
Tux Paint is a free, award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program. Kids are presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative. Along with paintbrush, shapes and text, Tux Paint includes a "stamp" feature to add pre-drawn or photographic imagery to pictures, and a set of "magic tools" that provide filter effects (like blur, tint and waves) and interesting drawing tools (like train tracks, bubbles and grass). Tux Paint includes a collection of "starter" images, both coloring-book style and photo-realistic, and a large collections of stamps are available as a separate download. Additional content can be added by parents and teachers, or downloaded from 3rd parties. Tux Paint is available for Windows, macOS, Android, Linux, and Haiku operating systems, among others.

Enblend blends away the seams in a panoramic image mosaic using a multi-resolution spline. Enfuse merges different exposures of the same scene to produce an image that looks much like a tone-mapped image.
Fast, advanced, multi-platform fractal generator
FractalNow provides users with tools to generate pictures of various types of fractals quickly and easily. It is made of both a command line tool, FractalNow, and a graphical tool, QFractalNow. The graphical tool, based on Qt library, allows users to explore fractals intuitively and generate pictures. Both tools are entirely multi-threaded and implement advanced algorithms and heuristics that make computation very fast compared to most existing free fractal generators.
Simple image comparison tool
DiffImg is a simple image comparison tool which take two images with the same size as input. Some statitics are computed and the positions where pixel differ are displayed as a color mask.

In the field of Graphics learning from a live instructor-led and hand-on training courses would make a big difference as compared with watching a video learning materials. Participants must maintain focus and interact with the trainer for questions and concerns. In Qwikcourse, trainers and participants uses DaDesktop , a cloud desktop environment designed for instructors and students who wish to carry out interactive, hands-on training from distant physical locations.
For now, there are tremendous work opportunities for various IT fields. Most of the courses in Graphics is a great source of IT learning with hands-on training and experience which could be a great contribution to your portfolio.
