The WSJT project currently includes five programs designed for amateur radio communication using state of the art digital techniques. Typical applications include meteor scatter, EME ("moonbounce"), and QRP communication at HF. Summary Program Descriptions: WSJT: Modes JTMS, FSK441, ISCAT, JT6M, JT65, JT4, Echo, CW. Optimized for meteor scanner, ionospheric scatter, and EME at VHF/UHF/Microwaves. WSJT-X: Modes JT65, JT9, ISCAT, Echo, JT4, MSK144, QRA64, FT8, FT4, FST4, FST4W. Primarily for use at LF, MF, HF, VHF, UHF, and microwave. MAP65: For EME an VHF and higher frequencies. Implements a panoramic, polarization-matching receiver for JT65. WSPR: Probe potential propagation paths using low-power transmissions. WSPR-X: Experimental version of WSPR, including the slow mode WSPR-15.

Echoes is a radio spectral analysis software for RTL-SDR devices
Echoes it's a radio spectral analysis software for RTL-SDR devices, designed for meteor scattering purposes. RTL-SDR are very cheap Software Defined Radios that uses DVB-T TV tuner dongles based on Realtek's RTL2832U chipset. Echoes doesn't demodulate neither decode any human-made signal. Its main goal is to analyze and record the total power of natural signals and generate screenshots and tabular data (CSV, GNUplot) output in presence of particular peaks in a selected narrow range of frequencies. Since there is no demodulation, there is no provision for audio listening, except for a notify sound when an event has been recorded.

Two programs: (1) MorseNews sends news from one or more RSS, Atom, or Twitter feeds as Morse code, and (2) MorseKeyer, an iambic/bug keyer with mouse & serial key/paddle. Both play CW or sounder audio and drive external sounder, loop, or ham rig.

Activates the PTT of a hamradio TX when a specific color is at screen
When operating any hamradio software that doesn’t control the PTT (push to talk) button of the radio you can use ColorVox to operate the PTT thru the COM port when some specific pixels at the screen change the color to a specific color you select. This software evolves the concept of voice operated relay (VOX) well known in hamradio activity to color operated relay (ColorVox) that is the innovation it introduces.
A hamradio beacon project on an AVR MCU
AVR beacon project utilizes a new approach to RF signal generation using SQDDS method (making RF signals directly from the software, based on a pre-calculated periodic bit-sequence). It is mainly used by the hamradio operators to set up various radio beacons for different purposes, mostly for radio waves propagation discoveries. CW (continious waves, Morze code) is a main modulation mode. Other modes like PSK and FSK are planned to implement in the future releases. User can enter any ASCII text to send it to the air. Transmission rates and modes are configurable from the input text. AVR beacon can read an external digital instruments like (voltmeter, thermometer, axelerometer, anemometer, etc.) and send its data to the air. Beacons network is planned to implement using an external GPS module for time syncronization. This project runs on Atmel AVR pico-power Mega microcontrollers: ATmega48p, ATmega88p, ATmega168p and ATmega368p. It is possible to port it to other AVR MCUs as well.
